Day 349, 18 June 2013, Puerta Iguazu (Argentina) - to Buenos Aires (Don't Cry for Me,Argentina). Been looking forward to our BA time for a while now - 8 days in one place - chance for actual laundry to be done. One of the things we never realised before our adventure is how much we appreciate machine washing... hot soapy water, agitation, spin cycle... and then, to top it all off - a clothes dryer... Day 348, 17 June 2013, Puerta Iguaza / Cataratas, Argentina. Finally - the Falls! Just for a change, the day dawned gray(er) and cloudy(er) - so cloudy in fact that the local cell tower was almost covered in mist. It was our last full day though, so off we went. Down the road, onto the local bus for the 20 km drive out to the falls. Day 347, 16 June 2013, Puerta Iguazu / Tres Fronteras, Argentina. We have come to the conclusion that because Argentina is seemingly poorer than it's neighbour Brazil, it can't afford as much sunshine. If any. The day dawned bleak, grey and cloudy with fog or mist in patches. Not a particularly cracking day to go and catch dancing rainbows at the Falls on the Argentine side.
