Sunday 8th June 2014 Melbourne to Anchorage Pete and I departed Melbourne Airport on United Airlines Flight 840. First stop was Sydney where we had a three hour wait, next leg was to San Francisco where we went through Customs and Immigration and then had an eight hour wait.
