Well I'm now in Echuca staying at Michelle's house. If anyone is looking at the map on my homepage then just ignore the flashing red dot. It has issues and won't stay in the right place. Thursday - I got up and said goodbye to Louise and Andy who were carrying on their journey towards Adelaide. I would have loved to carry on with them but didn't really want to end up back in Adelaide. I was planning to catch a train from Port Fairy back to Melbourne but the lady who ran the hostel found me a lift instead with a girl who was driving back to the city. She had some work to do on the drive back as she was working in bird conservation so we had to stop at a few beaches around the Port Fairy area so she could count the birds. After the first beach, I just stayed in the car and read my book. After 4 or 5 stops, her work was done and we drove along the Princes highway back to the city. She dropped me off right outside my new hostel in South Melbourne which was really nice of her (I do acually know her name, I just can't spell it). Friday - Got up and checked out of the hostel. I went for a walk around the South Melbourne markets and caught a tram into the city to go to one of the department stores. Then it was a tram ride back to the hostel to collect my luggage and another tram to the station. I caught the train to Bendigo and then a coach to Echuca where I was picked up by Michelle. I'm staying at her house where she lives with her fiancee Josh and dog Chloe.
