OK, so we managed to stay one night in Brisbane before we decided it was time for another road trip, this time with Tamara as our new companion! The first thing we had to do was allow Tamara to guide us through the City Centre to locate the WICKED office so that we could exchange our van for a new one...which we could not read - I mean the old one clearly said Billy Idol on it but this one was just mess... we still have no idea what it said on the side! Hey Guys, we have arrived in Brisbane! We managed to get a great deal form 'Wicked Campers'. they basically needed a van relocated from cairns to brisbane, and we were happy to oblige...paying only $1 a day for our 4 day trip (plus $200 petrol and $80 insurance levy!). So we hit the open road and somehow managed to find ourselves on Highway 1, the eastern highway on our roadtrip down Australia! This has always been a dream of Andrews, he has talked about it cons...

Hey hey... well...we flew out of Alice Springs because we didnt want the 2 day journey on a bus (this country is huge and you don't realise it until you are here!!!) We arrived in Cairns after a nice Quantas flight - which included a nice curry! And checked into the YHA we splashed out and got a double room as we needed sleep after the exhausting Rock tour. Cairns is a nice tropical place. Easy to walk around but seems full of 18yr old gap students wanting to ge...
