School finished yesterday so today is not just the first day of the school holidays but is also the first day of this next "stage" of my life....the real adventure of course starts 4 weeks tomorrow when I'll be getting on my plane to Colombia. However before then I have several more weeks of catching up with friends and family....so far there have been 4 leaving dos (plus a cheesy 70s and 80s night out, not an actual leaving night out, but a fond fare...

Testing! Nothing interesting to report, am just trying to see if my blog links to my facebook page and if it updates.....need to finish packing then get to bed, it's my usual late night the day before a trip! Not sure why I thought this year would be in any different! PS. Clearly the photo is not Manchester- they had none, so I picked Brighton instead!!
