This past weekend has been absolute bliss. On Friday we all went out for a few drinks in town which was great fun and then Saturday, Chris (a fabulous gay that I have met at the volunteer house) and I went to a hotel for the night! I had such a great day teaching, I can see some of my pupils making great progress and I love their smiles once they realised that they have got their work correct! Yesterday was a great day, I was able to teach at the old school. My morning class included 8 students who were of similar ability but there were two naughty boys which I really enjoyed! I felt that if I sat down with me and talked through work and then praised them when they got their work correct then they might behave better, and it worked (although one boy had to be moved)!
