Our first day in Byron bay was A LOT of fun!! We spent the afternoon on the beach, playing in the surf and admiring the sights that byron had to offer! The last few days have been so interesting! Camping in an Aussie campsite was great fun! We camped right alongside a beach. Everyone was so friendly and when they heard our accents they came and asked us where we were from and how we were enjoying our travels etc! That night Chelsey, Abel and I cooked a sweet BBQ and then hung out on the beach for the evening! We saw a big campfire at one end of the beach so took a wander up to see if we could make some more pals...

Our last few days in port Macquarie involved going to a winery (obviously very enjoyable, can't say I am a wine expert but I certainly enjoyed drinking the wine!) Well right now I am lying on a stretch of grass next to the ocean in port Macquarie. I say 'ocean' rather than the sea because that's what the locals seem to say and of course I'm trying to get 'down with the gang' and be Aussie like! I picked this spot to sit because there is a girl playing guitar and singing at the bar behind me....so basically I'm being cheap and listening to her music without having to buy a drink!
