We crossed the border into Western Australia today after about 6000km through the Northern Territory. The drive to Lake Argyle was an interesting sight with nice scenery. We were lucky to get in to the caravan park because it was quite full and they started turning people away shortly after. It is a nice spot with an infinity pool overlooking Lake Argyle. We drove from Douglas-Daly Hot Springs after a morning swim. This would have to be one of my favourite places. We stopped at Katherine to refuel and replacement parts for the car troubles we have had lately. We had an overnight stop at Sullivan's Creek Rest Area. It was a fairly nice roadside camp with a river just a short walk away.

This morning we went to Florence Falls and had a swim in another beautiful spot. Then just for curiosity we thought we would drive through the Florence Falls campgrounds. They have a 2wd and 4wd accessed campgrounds of which I think Florence Falls 2wd was my favourite of all in Litchdfield. Today we did the 4wd track down to see a few sights. The first detour to the Lost City was not a bad road, it just had some corrugations. We took the short walk around the rocks making the lost city and it was quite interesting to see all the different shaped rocks. After driving back to the main road and again taking another 4wd track we shortly reach a water crossing. It was quite long but had a depth marker so we saw we could drive through it fine. ...
