Today we finally have some great weather again. We head to the Busselton jetty...the longest wood piled jetty in the southern hemisphere at 1.8km. It was built in the 1800's and closed as a port in 1973. On the walk up we saw some baby seagulls which was incredible as we have never seen them before. There are fees to both walk and catch the train up but what they don’t advertise is that you can by a half ticket by walking up the jetty and purchasing a ticke...

With more sickness and average weather we stayed around the resort which isn’t a bad thing. The most we did today was walk to the playground and the beach and then spent some time in the games room.

Today we took our chances with the on off again rain and went sightseeing. We started at Bunbury, which is unexpectedly much bigger than Busselton. We walked up the Rotary Tower which gave nice 360 degree views around the town. We dropped by Koombana Bay which is known for the wild dolphins that visit but there are none here at this time. Today we saw quite a few places but only stopped for a short time at each as they weren’t spots that you could enjoy in this unappealing weather. We drove through Castle Rock, Eagle Bay, Bunker Bay, Cape Naturaliste and Sugarloaf Rock. Bunker Bay was very popular with surfers with it appearing none of the locals are deterred by the winter weather. After food shopping and going to visitor information we then returned home and spent some time in the indoor heated pool and spa. We were the only ones there for most of the time. We went for a brief walk to the beach but the weather wasn’t great and it started to rain so the boys headed to the toy room. Matt had the most fun playing a racing game on the Playstation.
