Today is Father's Day and after the boys gave their Dad a handmade card and a little present we got ready to spend the day at the park. Today was the perfect day to enjoy the hotel and that's exactly what we did. The weather was horrible being very windy and raining outside so we stayed indoors and had some chill out time.

We cleaned and packed away the caravan for the last time for the next two weeks, then waited for courier to deliver the new transfer chain before heading north to our hotel for the week. We checked out the grounds finding a nice pool which was unfortunately too cold but there is a warm spa we will use later. The hotel room was great - large space and nice fitout. After heading to the shops once again, this time to fix the caravan water tank, we went back to Nathan's hoping the courier would deliver the chain today so Matt can finally fix the car. This didn't happen so will now have to fix the car elsewhere.

Another freezing day in Perth led us to spend some time indoors at the Shipwreck Gallery in Fremantle. On the way here, we drove by the Rockingham foreshore and had lunch in the park. Driving through Fremantle was really nice with some amazing historical buildings giving the town a lot of character. The Shipwreck Gallery had a major display of the Batavia, which sunk off the West Australian coast in the 1600's. A good place to visit and entry was by donation....
