As Liz & Harriet had left Koh Phi Phi a day earlier to visit railay beach, we met back up with them as we were queueing for the boat ... as is typical with us we had got on the wrong bus and ended up at the wrong port. This boat was still going to Koh Phangan just with a different company.... after alot of kiss assin to the man at the ticket office and a promise we'd provide free entertainment for everyone on the boat we were finally let on.

We made our way to our bungalows which was just down the road from where we stayed on NYE. We were in 2 rooms of three so for the first time this trip we spilt up and Em went with Eve and Emma and Nik with Liz and Harriet

While Liz and Harriet were at Railey beach Liz ate some shellfish which she is allergic too so her eyes and nose had started to swell. Emily also started with a fever so both Liz and Emily went to the clinic nut we thought they were over exaggerating their conditions just for their insurance. That night Em convinced herself that she felt better so we went to the coral bungalows pool party that we went to the first time we were in Koh Phangan but Em just didnt drink too much. We met up with our chinese teachers and took them to the pool party where we stayed until the early hours. Coincidently the guys from China were staying next door to us which made it easier to meet up throughout the week.

The next day Em took a turn for the worse so we all thought best that she went the hospital. The medic came out to us at the bungalow and put her on a drip before going to the hospital. Her temperature was coming up at over 40 degrees and after a few tests was told she had pneumonia. After being put on about 6 different meds and a nights stay she was able to go back to the bungalow so long as she went back to the hospital for blood tests everyday.
The day after the pool party we all opted to save ourselves for the full moon party so the 11 of us went to the Lazy house to watch a film before calling it a night.

Learning from the last full moon party we decided not to start drinking during the day (well emily couldnt drink anyway) and had the first bucket at the pre drinks at the China boys bungalow! So dressed head to toe in UV paint and our full moon pafty outfits we all made our way to the beach! but as is normal in a big group we walked straight in and lost each other! Em went home after an hour and she was still really unwell! So Nik Liz and Harriet decided to get another bucket and met a bunch of lads from Aus and as it was Australia day we spent the whole night raving round the beach with them .. we even made them do a human centipede on the sand so we could send the picture bk to the brummy boys in Phi Phi! So instead of doing mushrooms this time we stuck to alcohol and stayed up with our aussie friends until sunrise!

After the full moon party the whole gang started to spilt up Liz and Harriet were heading to Koh Toa and Emma and Eve to Malaysia so we said our emotional goodbyes to our home friends!Literally dont think we could have shared our time in Thailand with a better group of girls and we will definitly miss them alot! Nik Amy and the China boys were heading to Phi Phi and we were heading to ... the hospital!

Em literally couldnt get out of bed, her blood platelets were getting lower by the day and was told she also had dengue fever a tropical disease caught from a mosquito. At this point we didn't know if she was going to make it to Australia but we were going to try our best at smuggling her into the country. We had already extended our visas for Thailand so we couldnt really stay and we had already paid alot of money to get us to Australia so we thought we'd give it a try!

Like superwoman Nik managed to carry both of the backpacks and Em managed herself to get to Krabi and then to the airport ready for our next adventure in Australiaaaa!
