We left Chaing Mai to travel to Chaing Khong which is a town built purely for travellers to stay the night before they cross the border to Laos. So today was the day where I joined my tour group. I was up at 6.30am so I could catch a taxi and drive across to the tour office where I picked up the bus. Checking out was fine, and I walked down to the Main Street to find a taxi. The lady at reception had told me that it was easy to find a taxi and there would be no problem. My flight from Australia to Thailand was delayed an hour so I finally arrived at 2am. I decided to book a hotel near the airport (they picked me up and had a sin with my name on when I walked out in to arrivals...I felt special. Haha) and travel into the centre of Bangkok the following day. The hotel was amazing and I had a king size bed and check out was at 2pm so I had an amazing sleep!
