We left Vientiane at 9am to make our way South to Kong Lor which is famous for having the longest caves in Laos. The caves reach 7.4km in distance. Our first stop was to the temple of Wat Phrabathponesan which had a lot of Buddha pictures inside and a big gold stuppah. I have attached a couple if pictures. The bus ride to Vientiane was one of the worst we have had. The road was sooo bumpy that at times we left our seats and it felt like we were flying through the air. I turned around at one point to talk to Saskya as we hit a bump and the next thing she was half a metre in the air. Up at 6.30am and back on the boat at 7am. We set off on the journey to Luang Prabang, one of the bigger towns in Laos.
