On the first night we went to dinner with Rich and Amit who we met in Bangkok and Mel. Suhanya also known as chili girl continued her chili obsession and asked for extra chilies with her noodles. Unfortunately while eating using chopsticks a bit of chili flicked into her eye and tears were streaming down her face. It still didn't' dampen the need for chilis though. Later that night we all went to the Pirate beach party, where we consumed a bucket of Sangsom and danced the night away. The following day Nicole and Suhanya hired mopeds and drove to the Phaeng waterfalls with Amit and Rich. However on the way Nicole fell off her bike after turning round the corner. The wing mirror broke and she attained more cuts and bruises. We then continued our journey to the waterfalls; once we arrived we trekked to the top and chilled by the waterfall. On the way back Suhanya made a turn, hit a bump then fell off her moped! Luckily she only had a couple of cuts and bruises but the bike had taken a battering and had quite a few scratches! Suhanya had to pay 40 quid for the damages and Nicole 20 quid! Complete rip off and we have both vowed never to rent a moped again.
The next day was the half moon party. We dressed up as ravers and set off to start partying at midnight. The party was in the jungle and it looked really funky with all the UV lights. It was 10 baht to use the toilet so Nicole, Suhanya and Mel decided to wee in the jungle. It was hard to find a place to go where no one could see us so we started walking on the sand but then suddenly we started sinking and then realized that we had encountered quick sand! Suhanya fell back into a bush and Mel lost her flip flop. She was digging for agers to find it while Nicole and Suhanya were in hysterics. Later that night Suhanya and Mel spoke to these guys who made glasses out of glow sticks. They let us keep them which was cool as we thought we looked pretty cool and that they suited us! Lol. Later on it started to rain and everyone started to strip off leaving their swim wear on. At 5am we had to leave to get boat to Ko phi phi.
