Wahhh where to start!
Last Wednesday night, Katelyn, Anh, and I went to see Les Miserables. It was AMAZING. I can't say enough good things about it. And we got the tickets for only 20 pounds! I love that I recognized one of the songs from singing it in like middle school chorus, super embarrassing. I still wish Nick Jonas was starring in it but he ended a week before we went. After that, we met up with the girls + Keon at Tiger Tiger aka one of my favorite places. We danced and drank until 2:30ish, and then went home.
Thursday, I don't think anything important happened.
Friday night, I hung out in Katelyn's room at night, then went out somewhere with the boys but left as soon as we got there, then ventured to Tiger Tiger which was a major fail. We didn't want to pay the 10 pounds to get in, and then these guys who weren't allowed to get in because they had no girls with them offered to pay for us in return for them getting in, but the bouncers pretty much yelled in our face for our plotting haha. We tried to go to other places but it was closing in on 1 am and it was still 10 pounds to get in everywhere, annoying, so we called it a night.
Saturday, the girls and I went to Greenwich. It was so pretty there. We went to the National Maritime Museum and the Queens House. Then we walked up this gigantic hill and saw a beautiful view of pretty much the whole world. From there, we went to the prime meridian line! We got to stand over the line that divides the eastern and western hemispheres, coolest two places at once ever. Then we went to the London's only planetarium and saw a show called The Sky Tonight. On our way back, we went to Noodle Time and got delicioussss big plates of asian noodles for only 5ish pounds.
Saturday night, Cynthia, Katelyn, and I went to FABRIC. Apparently, it is named the 2nd best club in the world. I haven't been to all the clubs in the world, but I still loved it the second time around. We were going to have to pay 18 pounds to get in, but cried to the bouncer and got in for 9 pounds. We danced all night and finally left a little after 4 am. When I got home, I couldn't sleep and I stayed up until the sunrise. I finally slept from like 7 until 10:30 am.
Sunday, after only a few hours of sleep, Katelyn and I trekked the almost 4 miles to see Abbey Road. It was pretty cool, it was really just the crosswalk and seeing the Abbey Road Studios from the outside, but its still history! ALSO, we happened to be very lucky girls and went on the 41st anniversary of the Beatles taking their picture there! After that, we went to the Beatles Cafe and I bought an Abbey Road street sign, which I plan on hanging in my little closet of a room in lovely Stetty West. Then, Katelyn and I walked home through Regents Park which was beautiful, like every other place we go in London.
Today, Jess, Mike, Danielle, and I went to My Old Dutch Pancake House for manic monday 5 pound crepes. So yummy. That was pretty much the only good thing to happen today.
Anh, Danielle, Jess, and I are going to see Phantom of the Opera tomorrow night! I'm so excited.
2 more days of class/lecture. 1 day of review. 1 final. 4 more nights. Back to America :(
It is all coming WAY TOO SOON. I wish I could stop time, because I don't want to leave the UK one bit. A lot of us here are torn, some people don't want to go home at all and some are ready to peace out back to America. Sorry family and friends, but I like it here too much to wanna leave.
