I was in no rush to go to Sao Paulo. I got up late and went on the internet for a bit. I left around 12pm to go to the bus terminal. I took the next bus to Sao Paulo which was at 1pm. The ride was six hours long. During the ride, I thought about all of the wonderful memories I had had so far, and how I was going to miss everyone that I had met. I was especially missing Rio (and Daniela) at this time. I was determined to do another South American trip.

When I got to Sao Paulo, I headed directly to my hostel. Once I settled in, I went to a nearby restaurant to eat, and then called Renata and Natalia (the girls I met at Machu Picchu) to let them know I had arrived. I had planned to meet Renata at the metro station near my hostel and we were going to go see Natalia perform (in you remember, she is an opera singer).

I enjoyed relaxing the rest of the night in my hostel. The people there were mostly from Brazil and barely spoke English. We all watched the Davinci Code on TV in Engligh with Portuguese subtitles (convenient for all of us). I went to bed as soon as the movie ended.
