21st January
Arrived at a bus station in Bangkok, had to get a local bus to the skytrain. There were no elevators at the skytrain and had to carry my bag up and down stairs, was not impressed especially after my 17hour journey. Finally arrived at the hostel and luckily I could check in, Omg I was on the 4th floor and they didn't have a lift, I was about to loose it. Finally got in my room and went to sleep for a few hours. Bangkok is so busy. Got the skytrain to Siam and walked around MBK shopping centre to price up bags. They are so much more expensive than last time, need to barter hard. Sorted out the last of the details for mine and maries trip around the islands and had an early night. Need to find a pool so I can chill before the tour.
22nd January
Didn't do much today, some washing and lay on the roof terrace. Nice to relax.
23rd January
Found a hotel with a pool so went there for s few hours, going to patpong tonight to the markets they font start until 6pm
Had some tea at a street stall, around 1pound for noodles and duck, it was lovely. Patpong was interesting, there are so many western men with Thai girls, the men are ugly and fat too. Dodgy bars in patpong, plenty of pingpong ball shows. I will let you use your imagination on that one. Bags are cheaper and loads if choice. So busy. Leave for tour tomorrow so stored some things at the hostel so my bag is lighter. Didn't really do much in Bangkok, waiting for Marie to arrive to do the main sights.
