Hey!!

After getting the suprisingly comfortable (but in true Bangkok form 'bizarre'!) night train from Bangkok on Friday we arrived at the paradise that is Ko Tao, a little island just off the south of Thailand.

Straight away, everything here seemed perfect, including the free upgrade to a beach side bungalow which (as it says) is lterally 2 steps from the beach! We are however, getting eaten alive by what I presume to be mosquitos but the location makes up for that.

I can't really write some big action packed blog like I felt like I did for Australia and New Zealand as our days have pretty much consisted of beach, eat, beach, cocktail (just to mix it up!) Our biggest decision is generally 'Green Thai curry, Red Thai curry?' I could really get used to this lifestyle. It is so relaxed. If you want to buy something in a shop you may even have to wake up the shopkeeper who's sleeping at the back!

The beach that our bungalow is on is just exactly as I imagined Thailand to be. A long strech of white sand with the clear blue sea, complete with bobbing long tail boats, just a metre away. You can almost sit in a beach side bar and dip your feet in the sea!

We were a bit more active yesterday and rented a kayak which was really relaxing, at least when we weren't dodging out of the way of a hurtling long boat!

So, thats about all for now. We are moving to our next island destination of Ko Samui tomorrow for another couple of 'busy' days.
