Hello!! Long time no updates. Bad nick. Well, it is all going great! Travelling with six brits (one token welshman) who are all travelling on their own - perfect. started the oz bus in Sydney on Tuesday and went to a surf camp for a day - yes that is me in the picture... i'm a pro. I've started strutting now too!

Sydney was great - went to a kids concert in the opera house - masses of schools, all singing their hearts out to their parents - I went for a tour during the day, and asked if there were any spare tickets for the evening - one left! Perfect. Before they started all the kids were finding their parents in the audience and waving back and forth - I felt a tad left out, so joined in the waving! Brilliant. Packed opera house, buzzing energy from the kids, it was great!

In Byron bay now, a hippy styley town (Nicki you would love it!) Lots of happy hippy vans around, and some great surf too. A lizard joined us for lunch and breakfast, very friendly and non-deadly. Which is a bonus. Jelly fish on the beach too, and deadly snakes (not that I've seen any) I'm getting used to scanning the floor now! Alex Tanfield is just north of here, didn't even know she was out here! So meeting up for a beer at some point. Yum! Ryan from home is at the next stop too, will enjoy a good catch up. Getting some accommodation from aunt k's sister too - brilliant!

Bike ride tomorrow, the hostel hires them out for free. Up to the light house, most easternly point of Oz. Yum!

Slightly boring update - tried to video the blog, and failed! Boo. Well into the 30s now and no sunburn - WOO!
