I made it to Canberra! Very exciting. Managed to swoop down on some Australian tv station whilst leaving Sydney, may have acted the 'typical tourist' by waving behind the presenters. I got a cheeky wave back from them, so not all bad.

Very good trip down on rackerty old bus number 1 (i'm sure they'll be many, many more to come!) to Canberra, and arrived during a monsoon, which soon bizarrely became a warm sunny afternoon. Met up with aunt K and got fed some very very scrummy pumkin soup, drank some very very scrummy tasmanian cascade larger. :)

Day 2 consisted of sleeping (in a new, different, horizontal form which I haven't seen for a while) and heading into town to see new Parliament house, very swish indeed! Topped off with a bit more rain, cauliflower pasta bake and more cascade! The rain is helping me get used to the weather, so I am told.

New Ozzy phone, swooping magpies and discounted chinese food also made the day more fun! No kangeroos as yet, will get K to sort that out as soon as poss.

Yummy. Missing cold rainy England. Although aclimatising in the rainy mild nation's capital!
