Hey Everyone.
I'm about to put all the pics from Hue, Hoi An and Nha Trang online now...
Yestarday I arrived in Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City/HCMC. It's busier than Hanoi, and like everywhere in Vietnam, mopheads are everywhere. The South of Vietnam is a bit more friendly and relaxed. It's a cool place, I like it.
Anyway during my last day in Nha Trang I saw JP, a French-Candian guy I met in Hanoi. I joined him and the 3 girls at the mud-spa. You soak in fresh mineral mud (an experience I'll tell you). There was already a guy in our bath and Steph said (in French) that she didn't want to share the bath with some hairy-old guy. Even I could tell what she meant and I don't speak French.
So we get in for a while, and I ask the guy where he's from. 'France' he says. Hahaha. Steph's face...he knew every word.
Then after rinsing fof you go to soak in hot mineral water, then a swim. It was a good day. Had a quiet drink in the evening then me and Alex got on our bus to Saigon.
When we got to Mui Ne, ALex decided he'd have a day there and meet me in Saigon so I carried on. Bus ride was best yet, prob cos I had a double bed to myself...
Met a couple of people in my dorm last night - Josh from Bristol and Slyvia from Amsterdam. We went for a few drinks (2 litres of vodka red bull = a lot of ice, a lot of vodka, and maybe a 25ml measure of red bull) and then me and Josh went to see some live music which was good. Went to bed sober (for once) at about 1am.
This morning I went to use a gym because I've not exercised for months and my fitness levels are so low (I realised this when I needed a nap just after walking up 3 flights of stairs). Went shopping in the afternoon and plan on getting wrecked tonight. =]
Head to Phnom Penh (captial of Cambodia) on the 1st July which should be good too.
Had some messages of people I've not spoken to for months recently which is cool. Glad to hear you guys. Stay well.
