Hey Everyone. Thanks for messages and emails - its nice to hear whats happening at home.
My second day in Hue was good. We had this crazy tour guide called Bill who was a translator in the American war for the South Vietnamese Army. Seeing the tunnels were really cool, and then this church which still have live shells inside and artillery craters.
Bill was crazy though...we kept getting stories about his sex life - He's 65 at the moment.
Went for a drink when we got back with Justin, Michael, Crazy Bill and our Hostel owner. On the night me and Mike went to a bar for a couple of hours and had a draught beer which tasted like bad egg (f***ing AWFUL).
Got the bus to Hoi An which is a village that has 3 types of buildings: Tailors, Resturants and Hostels. Rented a motorbike for 2 days for just $6. Been crusing around on it quite a lot and I've got the hang easily now.
Got myself a t-shirt made yesatarday saying 'Hello, Motorbike?' which is all you get everywhere in Vietnam.
Today I've relaxed again and drove out with a guy called Alex from the US who I'll bew travelling with for the next 2 weeks all the way to Laos. We went like, 2-3km out of town just to the Rural area's - Vietnam is a beautiful country, especially Hoi An.
Heading down to Nha Trang tommorow which is a beach/party resort so should have a laugh, then to Saigon/HCMC and then onwards to Cambodia.
Hope to hear from you all soon.
