The full moon party was amazing.
My second day in Ko Pha Ngan I just relaxed at the beach with the Quebecans. Was quite hung over from the Pool Party. Crashed my bike and cut all my leg up but no damage apart from that.
Anyway so the full moon party...I went to sleep around 6pm so that I could party all night. Meant to get up at 8pm but woke up at 11:15pm!! Hopped on my bike and raced down to the beach.
I had no chance of finding anyone because there were thousands of people there, so I just got a bucket and started walking around. Bumped into 2 quebecans, Zoe and Laurent who I met in Hanoi and Bangkok. Partied with them for a while.
There are lots of places offering body paintings so I got a union jack on my face and some patterns down one arm. Looked decent. I also filled my t-shirt in that Emer got me ages ago so it read:
If found Lost and/or drunk please return to:
Full Moon Party, Haad Rin Beach, Ko Pha Ngan, Thailand.
The shirt is covered in paint now. Eventually I bumped into the people I was supposed to meet at 10pm. Hung out with them and went up mushroom mountain. JP had a mushroom shake and had a bad trip, so we got him to bed. The girls were still hung over from the day before so they went to bed too. All before 2am.
So I go back down the beach and get on stage with this guy I met in Bangkok. I end up talking to this Dutch girl called Rose and we go to get her a Holland flag, and patterns on her arm. I got some more patterns done too.
So I'm hanging out with her most of the night just getting smashed. Sun was coming up and we sat on the beach for a while and stuff. Her friend, a guy, had disappeared - turns out he's in love with her or something and was jealous...
Around 7am I see Ricky and Matt, at which point we jump onto each other - Was well happy to see those guys.
I head home around 9:30am for some more sleep, before another day doing nothing.
Honestly - Best party I've ever been to it was mental. Got a lot of pictures I need to get online. Heading back to Bangkok soon for a few days before going to Malaysia.
