We took a boat from Buenos Aires to Colonia De Sacremento in Uruguay. The customs guys just wanted to play football with our ball through the security scanning detectors. It was a 3 hour boat trip and we ended up in what we thought was a hostel but basically some old ladies house which was quite funny! Luckily we were with a girl called Sophie who was pretty much fluent in Spanish, we are slowly picking up the language! Uruguay is a pretty chilled out placed and from what we saw it did'nt look like people actually do much! Probarly cus it is like 100 degrees every day! We were only there for two days so we spent most of the time on the beach there messing around and playing with the stray dogs! We went out for a meal on the last night and the restaurant took payment in 4 different currencies, none of which pounds suprisingly! There was some pretty cool street entertainment for a while aswel! We met some missonairies over there who were saying that earlier in the month it was 45degrees so we thought fortunate to arrive when we did! We took the seriously early morning ferry back to Buneos Aires that left at 4:30a.m which was kinda cool because we got to see an awsome sunrise over the sea whilst on the boat back to Argentina! We decided to go to Bolivia after hearing great reviews about it and my god what a trek it was!!! Will save that one for the next blog, but a lot of very interesting things happened including sam walking into an open lorry door in a huge traffic blockade, which may i add is probarly the funniest thing i have ever seen!
