Surprise! We decided to detour and go to MEXICO! Arrived in Playa del Carmen, a beautiful coastal town, after 30 hours of flying and transits! Lima was our last Stop in South America! We stayed in the suburb of Miraflores, which suprised us both how clean and stunning it was. It looked alot like a western city than the capital of Peru, big shopping malls and big bright casinos! Lima also had the beach with some great views off the high cliffs of the good surf and sprawling ocean. We arrived into the town of Cuzco and headed straight for our accommodation... "the wild rover" which also has hostels in La Paz and Arriquipa! They are known for their comfy beds, hot showers and best parties! And all three are true! Cuzco is a really lovely town to look around with plazas, VERY old churches, lined with cobble stone streets, San Pedro market and some buildings are white with colored balconies or window frames! Lots of people stand on the street...

Lake Titicaca was our next sightseeing flutter. As Nik would constantly say it was "off its t***" or "this is the t***"! Some people never grow up. We visited two townships on the lake, first was copocabana in bolivia and second was Puno in peru. Copocabana was a lovely looking town very relaxed feel but very touristy!
