Kirsty wanted to do something for her birthday so before you know it, we were booked into an italian retreat on the coast. We were only in rome for a few days, seeing all the main attractions. you really are blown away by what the romans were able to build, coming from a country that is only 200 years old and seeing structures that have stood for 2000 years is unreal. The pantheon was one of our favourites. But lets not forget the food, small little alley restaurants, producing real pizzas and pastas.
