Robe and Coonawarra

After a groggy start we got some miles under our belt on the long drive to Robe our final stop before Adelaide. Unfortunately, this took us through the Coonawarra wine growing region which meant we had to sample more wine along the way... We also visited Narrocourt caves and took a tour looking at the interesting remains of ancient Australian animals which they have found. Now in Southern Australia we were finding the roads so long and straight that our petrol gauge had us a bit panicked a few times (you don't want to miss a fuel stop along the way)! Robe proved to be another pretty coastal town/village but made even nicer by our lovely stay at Lakeside Manor the best hostel we have stayed in!
