Woke up to the sound of pouring rain, not a good sign! Our plan was to spend the day on the beach so with hearing the rain we had a lazy morning instead. Skipped breakfast and went straight into lunch downstairs in the bar. We orderd a jumbo tuna bagutette with chips to share - when it arrived, I'm not joking, it was as entire baguette, like you'd buy from Tesco!! We'd thought of getting one each - glad we didn't!!

The rain was on and off all day. We loaded all our photos onto off exploring & sorted a few bits for later in the trip and had numerous games of pool - no surprise with Nick winning every game! I'm improving though, if the rain continues I'll be a pro!

Had dinner in the bar too. Made a run for the local supermarket to get some drinks (half the price of the bar) & went upstairs to chill out and watch some great Thai telly - saw some Jerry Springer "my boyfriend's a pimp" and some good old retro Baywatch!

Nice to have a chilled out day together, just would have been nicer to have done it on the beach enjoying the sun - maybe tomorrow!!
