After having brunch we walked down to the beach as it was a much nicer day so thought we could get some good photos of Patong. The beach was full of the holiday makers sunning themselves into lobsters!
We went back and checked outand Square One (our hostel)arranged a taxi to Karon Beach for us for 300 Baht.
Our hostel, Baan Suay, is another family run place and is again great! Really nice Boho feel about it. The wife is Thai and the husband is Australian. They have the most adorable baby girl who loves Nick, laughs and giggles for him, such a cutie.
Our room is huge, with A/C and a private bathroom. Really nicely decorated again with the boho style, gorgeous chunky wooden furniture and a massive carving of Buddha on the wall.
We went for a walk, it is quite a way to the beach but there is nothing at the beach, so everything is a little way away! The beach is beautiful and so peaceful. There was hardly anyone there. It is white sand with clear sea, just like an image on a postcard - we've found paradise! So much nicer than Patong as it's not been built or ruined by tourists on holiday! It's only 10mins away from Patong but seems like a world away.
Walked along the beach with our feet in the sea, enjoying the hot sun. Spent the evening in the bar of our hostel and also had dinner here. When we went to bed noticed we were both a bit rosey!! Lol
