Viva Colombia!

This is the name of the local budget airline we took to fly to Cartagena.

Hilarious. You can see from the photo that our names were hand written on the boarding cards. Which you didn't actually need to board the plane.

The majority of the other passengers clearly didn't fly very often. They all took a lot of pictures outside and inside the plane. That said, I've a feeling Fabrice took a picture of the plane too...

There was a real party atmosphere, most people were in big family groups and clearly headed on holiday. Good fun.

The relaxed atmosphere extended to the crew. Whilst taxiing to the stand (stairs) after landing one guy stood up to start unpacking the overhead locker - a deep gravelly whisper came over the speak system "sit down". Cue much laughter.

The best bit was when the stewardess announced our arrival into Cartagena by singing the local equivalent of "We're all off the sunny Spain". The whole plane joined in.

This was the bus to Cartagena (sorry, Romancing the Stone references won't stop).
