Off we go on our last state of our 2012 around oz trip... This tour is different in a couple of ways 1. We are traveling with another couple & little man (dion, Fee & jack) 2. We are flying to our destination then hopping into a campervan to tripping around the state.
Mon 31st December we met our traveling companions at melb airport for a bite to eat and a coffee and boarded our plane to Hobart. Once we arrived in Hobart we were greeted by Aussie dollar campers to take us to our rolling home for the next 10 days, following paperwork and a quick tour of the van we were on our way... Footloose and fancy free. There was no chance of either van being confiscated for the "hoon" law thats for sure, but they have character and that's what we are about. Paddy stated that he was "soooo hungry"... Lunch,supermarket, bottle shop, and then our camp for the night -Hobart showgrounds!
Before long dion was onto dinner, like a well oiled machine, we had an early dinner with the kids juggling feeding them at the same time as feeding ourselves!
New Year's Eve... The sun didn't go down till 9.30pm which ment a late night for paddy and once the sun was down we hit the sack... A nice early one for us! Bring on the rest of our tassie adventure 2013!!
