the 12 hour bus journey from Cambodia took 17 hours. it would have been quicker if we hadn't had to drop off 3 dirty old men in pattya,i say dirty old men because pattya if famous for being the dirty old man capital of thailand with plenty of prostitution (animal, vegitable or mineral) for them to go at.. minging, one of them got onto the bus and left behind this young (16 at the oldest) girl behind at the bus station (after snogging her), i find it a bit awful that, his body looked like a space hopper with two bits of string attatched (dead fat with skinny legs?). Anyway got to bangkok fine, the bus journey was ok (air con is great), we managed to check into a hotel (best nigts sleep so far, either the bed was comfy or i was knackered). Only just got here so not too sure what to think of it, i had imagined all sorts of stuff about bangkok, i thought me and nic would be accosted by ladies of the night and bangkok chick boys left right and center as soon as we arrived. This is not the case, Bangkok is a massive city, it looks amazing and i can't wait to have a look around. Will update the site as soon as i've done anything remotely interesting (does nearly burning my mouth off on a chilli count?). adios, matt
