Choppers Travels
ok. i realised i'm going into too much detail. so get ready for the cliff notes.
after mandawa we stayed in a mud hut (i say mud hut but it's more like a propper fancy hotel made out of straw, mud and cow poo), were really luck and managed to get a picture of the local women adding an extra coat of dung to the bungalow next to us (was a bit stinky). Went on a camel ride (pretty good fun but very high), we stopped at a camel man's house and had a cup of tea (cha) i had a game of football with the kids wich as usual ended in tears (with a bloody nose).
To Ranthambore (about 8 hours, the roads are very scary, on more than one occasion the whole coach took a deep breath). Famous for the national park. Stayed in the mahoraja's palace (we'll his summer one), had a gin and tonic on the lawn. Had my hair cut (12 pence, and it looks like i was ripped off, a propper wonky pudding bowl affair). Went on a 5 hour safari through tha park and say nothing (famous for tigers). WE were luck enough to see two tigers the next day on the way to the fort. Saw loads of monkeys at one point it got a bit scarey as they were on heat and all started kicking off on each other (they are randy b*****s).
