G'day everyone.

A lot has happened since we last did a blog......United have won the european cup, warrington have lost loads of games and their coach and we have arrived in Australia!

We arrived in Cairns and spent the day exploring. Not much here to be honest, a bit of a ghost town. We hired a car for 4 days so we could head up north to the rainforest. We briefly stopped over in Port Douglas, where we witnesed a crazy singer stripping off to Full Monty tune at 7pm! The Aussies are crazy!

We then spent a few days at Cape Tribulation, where we did some trekking and explored the island. The place is really beatiful and was well worth the trip up there.

We got back to Cairns and made a decision to hire out a campervan for the rest of our trip. The van is really cool with a fridge and sink in the back and a lounge that converts into our bedroom! We're real travellers now! Well, Nic smells like one anyway! We,ve spent the last week or so driving down the coast stopping at variuos beach towns along the way.

We spent a few days at Airlie Beach, where we did a trip over to the Whitsunday Islands! We went on the most amazing beach, where the sand crumbles like flour under your feet(see pics). We did our Barrier Reef dive here as well which was also amazing(my air lasted about 20 minutes though because apparently i breathe like darth vader underwater!

We have just spent the day on Fraser Island, which has a beautiful fresh water lake in the middle which we had a little dip in. All of the islands and beaches here are like postcards!

We are planning on moving on towards Noosa and the Gold Coast tomorrow. Can't wait to go to Stevie Irwins zoo! Get the van going Nic!
