Jodhpur is the second biggest city in Rajasthan so it's fairly busy and dirty. It's known as the blue city as many of it's buildings are painted blue. This is done to keep the houses cool and also to act as an insect repellant - very clever! However, after experimenting with a tin of blue paint we can confirm this does not also work on humans! By far the greatest attraction is the Meherangarh Fort, which boasts some of the best views of the city. It also the only museum that we have found that has walkman style audio guides. Exellent for infomation, terrible for discreet conversations!
