Jaipur is the capital city of Rajasthan and is named the pink city soley because all the buildings are painted pink - however we yhought they were more of an orange shade! To be honest we were not really inspired by this place and felt very hassled to shop in the malls. The highlight by far was a visit to Asia's largest cinema to see the Bollywood blockbuster 'Sunday'. We managed to follow the plot despite the whole film being in Hindi. Mind you Bollywood films aren't really renowed for a complex plot line - a love story and lots of singing and dancing. We have both fallen in love with the leading man and are currently on our way to Mumbai to stalk him!

In the evening we were treated to a wedding at the hotel we were staying at. The groom arrived on horseback accompanied by a full brass band and fireworks. We waited till midnight for the bride but called it a night when she had still not arrived.
