How not to pack or unpack on an extended holiday

1) do not have a scatter of pints the night before

2) do not smash a glass bowl into smithereens the morning you are leaving (Niamh)

3) do not leave your kindle under your pillow (still waiting to be reunited!)

4) after cleaning up all the glass, do not drop coffee (Ed) and raisins (Betsy) everywhere

5) beware of leaving your car doors open as roaming chickens might attempt to climb in

6) do not unload your entire car boot into a lift only to find out that loft takes you to the wrong side of the building and you can't access your rented flat!

7) try to encourage your nappy wearing children not to do clothes staining nappies after you have packed everything but yet to get in the car - fail every time!
