"Grandad renewed his season ticket at aston villa for another year!"
Why on earth would he do that?!? Im sure it wasnt his choice, must have been a punishment. But thats some punishment! He must have commited an unbeilevable crime to be landed with that sort of injustice.
Ah well Im off to practice being the next most talked about footballer in the world, not sure whether to work on my head butting skills, insults of a mother, terrorist or racist nature, or just practice falling over! Who said it was difficult to make it to the top?

Hi Alexander
We are so glad to hear you are enjoying yourself and hols. All this exciting stuff you are getting up to, things we have never even heard of, keep it up.
Many thanks for your card, Grandad won't be running the Villa down after englands show. Mark joined us for the match, but nothing to celebrate. Hoping to be off on our big adventure (TO POOLE).
Grandad renewed his season ticket for aston villa for another year.
Take good care of your self, lots of love always. nanny and grandad.

evening lil man
just to ease your worries, the fiesta is back...well nearly anyway! still no take that tho dam it!
as for england, i blame sven who is clueless and a certain spaghetti headed, cry baby, one trick pony, cheating sod! you know who im talking about! why crouchy did not play up front with rooney i will never know. had an awesome time at wimbledon, watched the penos on a mini tv whilst watching mauresmo on number 1 court which was surreal as everybody was crouded round the people who had radios and tvs, and frankly for 5 mins nobody cared about the tennis anymore. The umpire had to tell ppl to be quiet very often during the penos! overall wimbledon was awesome, went for two days and saw federer, agassi, murray, roddick, sharapova, mauresmo, and henine hardenne live and in the flesh amonst others as well, inckuding one of my all time heroes ivanesivic playing mens over 35 dbls, which was very entertaining. keep the emails coming, and come on terry henry on saturday. by this time next week arsenal will have signed buffon, nesta, canavaro, kaka and trezeguet after all the big italian clubs are relegated. add to that torres and riquelme and i think you will find arsenal to be unbeatable next year! take care x x x x x

Hi all, i write today after again another unsuccessful world cup! Its been nearly a week and only now i feel able to talk about it! Why we play for penalties (its not as if we can take them) and dont go and try and win games with attcaking formations etc, instead of formations that nulify beckham (i.e best crosser in the world...needs a player to cross to) and rooneys (i.e drop off and run at defenders) involvement i will never know! Gerrad said he didnt want any more regrets regards world cups and major tourenments! Well besides Joe coles spectacular goal i dont think england did anything to get the hairs on the back of my neck to stand up. Let down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway i hope everyone back home is good and enjoying the english sunshine! Just the ryder cup to cheer for now, or maybe monty in the british open! Regards the football im faced with supporting the Italians who are no better than the portugese for cheating or the french who.......well their french, so say no more!
With Italian cousins and uncles i guess it has to be the Italians, but i may live to regret that with the banter i will receive when i return home!

Hey hey hey,
Been reading your travel blog, not too bad. Cambodia and Vietnam sound excellent from your entries. Can't wait to go there once I leave KL or Singapore or wherever the hell I may end up.
I seemed to have caught the travel bug and if I have enough funds i'm spending about 3-4 months working in New Zealand (as I already told you since you're sitting behind me). Actually, I guess i've pretty much already made up my mind in my head. Visa cash advance and overdraft here I come!
Anyway, if i'm back in the good ol' US before you hit up New York, take a bus to Boston (between 8-11 quid from Chinatown on the Fung Wah Bus) and I can show you around all the fabulous drinking establishments and other "well nice" dive bars that Boston has to offer. Lots of tourist traps where you can find some "well fit" girls. No hotel or hostel needed as long as you can put up with some heavy drinking with my strange friends. Boston girls dig English accents, so you'll clean up. :-)
Lovely jumblay, have cup of tea (Perhentian Islands/Malaysia).

winky and woodsey, hope its all going well. i got a 2:2 somehow so my 4 years of trying has finally payed off. good to hear u are all having fun. back in bath now, gotta go down for graduation in a weeks time- should be a savage time for all involved- the graduation bop i mean. i was happy to see england lose the football as ppl were actually crying in walkabout bunch of pikey c****. however life is ok, got 54% in dissy which was awesome have been off the lash for a week in an atempt to behave myself. birdy was an absolute disgrace at the all dayer by all accounts, i had a difference of opinion at the summer ball with a second year if i ever see him again i will knock him out. the stag do was savage - i only wish we could make the fresh do it again.
better go
cheers cheers cheers

ALEX!!!
Boring Shropshire is the height of excitement. To follow up the crazy bomb scare in Shrewsbury town centre last month, this weekend there was a double murder! 'Double murder!?' I hear you cry, to which I say 'Yes'. But not just that, it occurred in the brothel in Frankwell. If there were any more scandals I'd think we were living in a seedy television drama. Like Holyoaks, but with fewer blonde twenty-somethings.
Just thought you would like to know that, especially as thats about the most exciting thing to happen in Shrewsbury since.....actually, has anything exciting ever happened in Shrewsbury before?
Keep enjoying the travelling matey.

The last posting listed the highlights of our performance against Gene Hackman's Portuguese.
The lowlights - all those world class salaries and nothing to show for it. Rooney's now appearing in the Nutcracker Suite, and C. Ronaldo has the freedom of Manchester (the Strangeways part!). Gary Neville had a busy night, playing against both Portugal and Brazil, but at least he changed his shirt for the second match (sporting the one with Ribery on the back). Why did we play for penalties given our track record, which we even surpassed on this occasion.
