We arrived at the Howqua Valley in the heat of the day. This is the one time I miss the kids and also dream about owning a caravan. Some blood, sweat & a few swear words later our camper is up!

The park is under new ownership and you can see they are really making an effort to improve the place. The single shower & toilet cubicle will prove to be interesting I’m sure but hey we are camping!

With the camper up and the temperature reaching a sizzling 35 degrees we decided to take a well deserved dip in the pool! I could instantly feel my core body temperature drop! Returning refreshed to our camper we relax with a nice cold drink & nibbles while I gain some energy to cook up some nice lamb chops & salad for dinner. A sprinkling of rain has come over but it has not dampened the activities on the water as the sped boats continue to whip about.

An early night is planned before a day full of activities & a wonderful birthday for my husband.
