Having a week of reasonably great weather, okay with the exception of some pretty hot days we did pretty well. That is until a thunderstorm stuck camp at 1am this morning and delivered wind & rain for a number of hours. Luckily though with the warm temperatures hanging around and rain gone the tent dries quickly and have camp packed up and on the road by 10am. Taking our time on the drive home and stopping twice for stretch breaks we arrive Home just after 4...

6am & on the road ! Our adventure begins! Please feel free to leave comments. The car is much lighter this trip with just the two of us. Less luggage, less food less chatter. As the kids slowly reach adulthood we to start to have our new style of getaway.

The camper is packed & everything marked off our checklist! Time to get some sleep as we have an early start planned for our adventure tomorrow. I will aim to post nightly for this blog and include photos & memories of our trip away.
