For the first time today, I had to ride the Greyhound bus, fly to North Carolina, fly to Boston, or just fly that kind of long distance in general. I noticed that as we arrived in Dallas on the Greyhound, that traffic and building sizes increased. I encountered many different people on my way to Dallas from Norman. I'm no ta very social person so I didn't talk to the people who sat next to me, I wish I did, but I bet they were nice people. I also found out that the dart trains in Dallas doesn't take long to leave. Three people learned that the hard way, they had to wait for the next train to the airport. I hope those people will be fine in New York with the subways and all.
I believe this is a great experience because I've never been to any historical monuments, or sites on the eastern seaboard. Plus after learning about American history this experience will broaden my understanding of American history and how it affected anyone and everyone. As well as hoe things changed over time, how people thought of certain things , evolution of industry, and jobs. I feel like seeing these sites I will remember things about history better, I'm a visual learner so hopefully I will be able to remember certain things from the classroom. I find it easier to visually take in information with tour guides, diagrams, and/or pictures.
I definitely can't wait for tomorrow, Boston is going to be a really fun, and new experience for not only me but my peers on this trip as well. A new experience that everyone on this trip will love...
