Today we drove to Kanyakumari, the very end of India where the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal all meet. We take a crowded ferry ride out to one of the monuments/temples built on the rocks just off the shore line. Then when back on the mainland we walk and dip our toes into the water at the very tip of India. This is only 90kms from where we are staying at Kovalam but took us 3 and half ours to get here as the roads as poor and the traffic and driving habits over here are so bad our top speed when we did reach it was 60kph. It was worth the effort to get here though.
