Not a bad nights sleep in our tents after a long day in the saddle, we were woken at six o'clock with a cup of tea delivered to our tent door. After breakfast we walked to visit a local family home (dunny or butt hut) This was the home of family members of Harji (cheeky camel handler) the home consisted of three butt huts, one a store room, one a kitchen that also they use to sleep in during winter and one bedroom. There also was an outside bathroom. All surrounded by a rendered fence making a central courtyard. Everything was well kept and tidy and again the family were happy to show us their home and have photos taken.
Back on the camels we road through farm lands will the young camel boy continued to plunder cucumbers along the way for the camel men to snack on along the way. Lunch was a welcome break from the heat and you really need to rest those few hours after lunch to avoid riding in the heat of the midday sun. The musicians continued to entertain us on the last stretch into our final camp. The children would come running and would call out tat ta and wave as we rode by. Us strange looking foreigners were a bit of a novelty to them us it is not often they see outside visitors. The musicians songs seemed to become more fun us we neared home with the others joining in and much laughter happening. After another scrumptious dinner prepared by our cook Jeet we were entertained by two young dancings girls. There costumes were spectacular and watching them dance around the camp fire to Kishan and Atum's music was a wonderful way to end our camel adventure.
