A free day in Delhi today. Met our World Ex guide Suri this morning who briefed us on our trip. After that we caught tuk tuks (omg the traffic!!) from Connaught Place where we're staying to Humayun's Tomb. 250Rs entry fee was well spent as we wandered around for quite a bit and had lunch in the shade of the gardens outside. Back at Connaught Place we went for a walk around where we're staying at the Radisson Blu Marina. Knowing where we wanted to go (we had a map and recommendations from Suri - the person not the apple voice) it took as a little while to get there as we were bombarded by "helpful" locals trying to get us to go in the opposite direction - to their relative/friend/employer's shops no doubt. After returning to the sanctuary of the hotel's bar we had a few drinks and dinner in the bar before an early night. I still have a sleep deficient to catch up.
