Today we travelled from Switzerland down to Florence via Pisa.

Pisa is a cute town with little markets and one of the oldest universities in Europe plus of course the leaning tower! We stopped to take some photos and I was for once very impressed with Chris' photo taking skills (usually he's terrible) but when I did a handstand he got the photo perfect first go!!!

Top deck asked a few of us couples along the way if we wanted to be booked into a nice Italian restaurant for romantic dinner when we got there and 3 couples (all from NZ including Us) took them up on it. The place was very cool lots of different rooms and court yards so it feels very intimate. Chris and I had a bottle of Prosecco (Italian champagne), bruschetta, pizza and pasta and then finished with lemonchello gelato. It was amazing. When we went to pay we found out that kelly our trip leader had paid for all our wine to do something a bit special for those celebrating.

We then went around to a famous karaoke bar called red garter and our trip leader and bus driver did a song for us!! This karaoke bar was just insane, absolutely packed 2 story bar with the front being a hip hop bar and the back karaoke!! However it was jam packed with top deck and contiki people!!
