Hi
So Hong Kong. Where to next, I wonder. Keep on enjoying yourselves and keep out of trouble on your final legs of your grand tour!
All well in EH, I think, and looking forward to meeting up on your return.
Had dinner yesterday with Richard (and his son), he of our weekend stays/walks in Yorkshire dale, just after the Scotland-Ireland match. Asking after you.
Best wishes to you both.

Your text prompted me to update myself on your travels. Perth sounds like a place to seriously consider emigrating too but I dont like the sound of the squeaky cleanliness of Singapore nor of the dangerous traffic in KL. Hope you havent eaten to many Ozzie pies - they sound a lot better than Scotch pies. To be honest I have never fent more negative about Scotland and things Scottish quite apart from the pies - things are just a mess here now.
Your viewing figures are extraordinary!

Hi Neil and Gwen,
Hope you are fine and enjoying yourselves.Summer seems to be over hetre. Are experiencing a howling storm at present and really have had crap weather for a week.I have been in hospital for a couple of days. Nothing serious, just being prepared for dialysis to start in 5 weeks time . have been feeling horrible for a while so its time.
You must be in India now. I am very envious. Have been watching " Paul Merton in India" on the tv. Fascinating and very amusing.
Cheers Simon

As ever enjoying reading about your travels and surprised that Bali was not as exciting/interesting as I would have expected it to be for visitiors from the UK - sounds like you had a very realxing b'day though Gwen! We leave for Nepal on Sat 14th March and look forward to seeing you in Bahrain!
Take care and love Anne and Bill

Glad you two escaped the awful fires..the news was full of it here. Am very sad you have never seen a roo in the wild, get yourselves north of Perth, the place is overrun with them ( a bit like red deer in Scotland) Are you missing us all yet?
