Hello all, we are safe and sound although a little jet lagged. Had a good sleep in our hotel after arriving from the aorport and then headed out for a wander last night. The heat is unbelievable but luckily everywhere is air conditioned!!! We walked around teh streets last night which are all lit up..its amazing. Thought we would try a bit of local food so stopped into a samll cafe just off the local street market. We were given soup and then boiled rice with cold chicken. hmmmm. The lady tried her best to tell us how we should be eating it but we carried on like tourists and used the soup spoons to eat our dinner rather than copsticks!!! Ha! Got the metro this morning to Hong kong central and have just visited The Peak to see Hong Kongs skyline. Impressive. Off to find some lunch. Internet cafes not as easy as we had thought. Will try and keep you updated.
