The first week is almost over already! It feels like I've already been here for weeks but it has also gone by so fast. School is going great, it really is intense. They cram in a lot of knowledge throughout the day and I've already had my first practice teaching session. It was little nerve racking but I did good. I had to describe hairstyles, which was pretty easy and basic. I had the best visual because I had a printed off picture of Dad in 7th grade with his hippie hair! It was a great ice-breaker :)

My walk to school takes about 15 minutes, it's just over the bridge. I love being able to walk across the river. It's not quite the mighty Mississippi but it's so beautiful! One problem with the walk is that on the way home I have to walk past a million beautiful clothing stores, it's too much temptation! And the only store I can afford is H&M, which I could shop at in MN! lol

My apartment is in an awesome 'hipster' neighborhood. Right next door there is a 'library cafe' that has live music and last night you could take lessons to learn how to lindy-hop (I think that's what they were doing?)!! We didn't do it, but next week for sure! It looked so fun! I posted a video of it, it's pretty dark but you can get the idea. Across the street is another bar that also has live music everynight.

This weekend I will be a tourist of Florence and visiting all the big sites, so get ready for more pictures! :)
