Normal 0 Today was a good day though, we decided to visit Hanoi prison aka the Hanoi Hilton. It was 2 minutes from the hotel but mr tony took us the wrong way and we got lost!!! It was interesting to see the cells and find out about the inmates and what happened and so on. It was starnge even to be in a prison! But no it was really good. After we left we decided to go and visit the army museum, I even had to buy a ticket for my camera! There were loads of planes, tanks, canons, bombs, weapons and so on, it was really cool! I took lots of pictures to show dad! So today was our day of learning! We got a moto back to the hostel but as I went to sit on mine the man tried to drive away and i ended up getting burnt by the exhaust! Known as a hanoi kiss apparently! We got back to the hostel and decided to book our trip to Ha long bay, im quite unsure about it as it looks beautiful but 3 days on a boat doesn't sound like a fun time to me! We went in to the bar and chatted to a swedish guy called Yerri who also booked the trip for the same day as us and he challenged us to a game of jenga! I have to say actually it was quite an intense couple of games! Yerri and tony were playing a game of chess when we could suddenly hear bagpipes coming down the road, and a scottish girl was playing them, she takes them everywhere so people can hear it! It was really cool as she was with a massive group of people and they were all dancing and cheering, it was so random! An irish guy said they were all going to Bar Street so we tagged along. Bars are meant to close at 12am and at like 2am the police turned up with batons and tazers and made all the westerners leave. It was so bizarre, they were really nice though so it wasn't too scary!! We got back and all chatted for a while before going to bed.
