Leaving Chiang Mai I took a trip to Chiang Rai to take a look at the Golden Triangle. It is a place where Thailand, Laos and Burma all meet and home to Opium Island. It was a nice little day trip and worth a visit especially since we stopped off at a very strange temple called the white temple.
